Inge Jabara’s stunning landscape design: A closer look

About Inge Jabara and the Lunaria Pods show garden
Show exhibitor Inge Jabara is an internationally renowned designer famed for her tranquil, serene and mesmerising show gardens. Inge delighted the crowds at the 2023 Melbourne Flower & Garden Show with her unique, silver medal award-winning ‘Lunaria Pods’ show garden. Featuring rustic Millboard Driftwood decking, bespoke ornamental statues, a statement water feature and vibrant, vivid floral displays, the spectacle was inspired by the Lunaria biennis plant.

The structure and design of the garden were heavily influenced by the shape of the pods of the plant and the way in which light streams through the delicate, paper-like petals of the flowers. Using a varied materials board and innovative, sustainable design concepts, Inge succeeded in wowing audiences. The design is dominated by three pods, which are adorned with plants, flowers and foliage, then connected via washed Millboard driftwood decking to mimic Lunaria pods and branches.
