Noosa Modern Luxury and Sustainable Design

The Coastal Noosa Penthouse

Drenched in sunshine, the southern Queensland resort of Noosa is popular for its beachside cafes, surfing, and the coastal trail that runs from the sands of Sunshine Beach to the lush grounds of Noosa National Park.

Set amid this idyllic landscape, sits this Noosa penthouse. Beautifully designed as a beacon of sophistication and sustainability in contemporary architecture, the Noosa penthouse is built in a contemporary style and embodies a clever combination of coastal luxury and sustainability.

Key Design Elements

Inspired by the natural splendour of Noosa’s coastline, the penthouse seamlessly integrates modern design elements with sustainable materials. Spanning 650m², the penthouse also features four exquisite bedrooms, each offering private balconies that overlook the azure waters of Laguna Bay.

Conceived through a collaborative effort between visionary architects and environmental experts Renegade Design Studio & Captivates Trade, the Noosa penthouse exemplifies a harmonious blend of luxury and eco-conscious design.

Every aspect of its construction, from concept materials decking to sustainable building practices, reflects a commitment to minimising environmental impact while maximising aesthetic appeal.

The project aimed to embrace as much of the stunning surroundings and outdoor living as possible, while making sure it was protected against the harsh elements of the coastline including strong sunlight, winds, and seaspray.

The designers ensured this protection from the elements using Millboard decking in the build. The Enhanced Grain Golden Oak of Millboard decking not only enriches the aesthetics of the project but also provides a robust and hard wearing surface for the outside areas of the property that need little maintenance.

Composite Decking Boards – A Symbol of Sustainable Luxury

In designing a coastal penthouse that sits perfectly on the Noosa coast, the best option for decking was composite flooring and in particular, composite decking from Millboard. The use of Enhanced grain decking boards, not only enriches the penthouse’s aesthetic appeal but also underscores its commitment to eco-friendly living.

Designed with a focus on clean lines and minimalist aesthetics, the penthouse boasts state-of-the-art features and innovative building techniques. The rooftop terrace, which is adorned with Concept Materials decking, offers panoramic views of Noosa’s pristine beaches and invites residents to indulge in the luxury of sustainable living.
