The Brief
The client brief for this project was to evoke a high-end resort vibe that would blend effortlessly with the coastal setting. FutureFlip aimed to create a luxurious and inviting space that would withstand the harsh oceanfront environment.
The Product
Given the windswept location and salty air that can erode materials, FutureFlip chose Millboard Limed Oak decking for its durability and longevity. Millboard decking is designed to withstand the elements, offering a low-maintenance solution that looks and feels like natural wood without the associated upkeep.

The Outcome

While the Beach House that is Pacific by FutureFlip has won several awards for its overall design, the Millboard decking plays a crucial role in the project’s success. The vast majority of the existing landscaping was conserved from the original site and painstakingly protected during construction, resulting in a well-established garden at the end of the project. Thus directly assisting in achieving a tropical, resort feel which was high on the clients’ priority list.
